About the Customs career

Customs patrol the city borders to catch aliens, drug runners and fleeing criminals. To join, you must first start by training for Customs in your local city. You must do 15 trains until you are officially part of Customs. You can train every 15 minutes. An added bonus to Customs is that you can see what 2 weapons, if any, someone is carrying in your home city. You can also notice if they currently have a body-guard as well as the position they are in a crew.

Inspector

Inspector is the first rank of Customs, you can start ranking doing Weapon Searches (or Drug Busts for the risky), only on people you have asked and given permission as it usually is not allowed by many, and Inspector earns. It will be rather slow and boring but you're getting closer to the top. You can also do Blind Eyes and Locates for people if you want, instead of searches. The first of these, Blind Eyes, allows gangsters to bring drugs inside the city you're in, and Locates find which city a person is in. You can also now see people's info on their Profile Pages, down the bottom below their quote. This can be useful sometimes but not many would be happy if you gave such information out.

Supervisor

All you have gained here is a new earn and a shiny new Profile Picture, if you don't have a custom one. Just keep Earning and Searching those that will let you, you'll be there soon enough. All you have to do is 2 more promotions and you're at the top.

Superintendent

This is the last stepping stone before the Top in this career, Commissioner-General. Again you unlock a new earn and a lovely new Profile Picture. All you need is a few hundred more earns and you're there, the owner of the airport. Keep doing what you've been doing before now and you'll be there soon enough.

Commissioner-General

This is what you've strived for, finally the owner of the shiny Airport for your city. Alongside the 1% respect a day, you get $50,000 as well, and you can set the number of seats in the airport, between 4 and 12, which cost varying amounts of money to run and cut into your profit, but more equals more people and more profit if your city is big enough for that many people. Whatever you choose you should get a steady income from this job and the respect alone is well worth the wait.

Custom Divisions

While in custom, even if you are only Inspector, you can train for different divisions. Training into each division gives you an advantage in each of the fields you are trained into, so you have a higher chance of succeeding than you would normally if you complete the training. Once you complete the training, you will be rewarded with an item for each division.

Drug Squad

Upon completion, you will receive a German Shepherd as a pet. In order to accept the pet, you can't have a pet on you at the time. Your new pet will increase the chances of you succeeding a drug bust if they are with you during the bust. You do not need to train into this division to do the bust, but doing so increases your chances of succeeding.

Firearms Investigation

Upon completion, you will receive a new GBH weapon: A Taser Gun. Taser guns can only be attained through customs and are not available in weapon shops. Taser guns will have the following effect on its victims. Player will be unable to use their Communication system for 2 hours. This means no reading or sending messages. Their agg timer will be set to 30 minutes. Taser guns do not care for nub pro, so you can GBH players using this weapon regardless of how old their character is.

Immigration

Customs officers can relocate people to their city. All they will need to do is purchase an apartment as per usual. If there is no engineer on that builds their apartment and moves them, you as a customs officer can approve their immigration request, thus relocating them instantly without an apartment. You do not need to train into this division, and it is available for all customs officers.
